Graveyard Keeper 2 Characters

The Inquisitor, the skull, the Town, and the zombies who work versus the zombies who siege.

Characters Hub

Graveyard Keeper 2 is still upcoming, so this hub is a cast list from official art and diaries, not a spoiler wiki of every cousin in the Port Area. Use it to know who you are, who talks in the trailer, and who you are allowed to put to work.

Child pages:

  • Grand Inquisitor — the player role, key art, Character tab
  • Skull companion — trailer sidekick; the September diary says this skull is not Gerry
  • Townsfolk and NPCs — Astrologer’s Tower, Port Area, traders, refugees, civic quest givers
  • Donkey — Steam header cameo; gameplay role still unconfirmed

Systems those people run sit on the guides hub. Dates sit on updates.

What the key art actually shows

Steam’s header is a cast snapshot: a bearded Keeper in a white tunic and purple trousers, shovel raised, skull in the off hand, a donkey, two green zombies (one with a sword, one with a club), graves, and a red II in the logo. That is the promise. You are not a silent caretaker in the sequel’s poster. You are a public official with a militia.

Three groups, not a MMO roster

  1. You — Grand Inquisitor, customizable according to the April press list, outfit bonus if you pre-ordered.
  2. Named weirdos — a talking skull in trailers who is not Gerry (skull); an Astrologer’s space in screenshots; a donkey on the Steam header whose quest is not public. We do not invent surnames.
  3. Zombies as staff or siege — Possession-Free workers versus cursed attackers. See zombie army.

If a TikTok “leaks” a romanceable bartender, wait for a location chip. This hub will grow rows after September 22, 2026, using those chips as IDs.

Why a characters section exists before launch

Searchers type “who do you play in Graveyard Keeper 2” and “is the donkey back.” Those are fair questions. They are not answered by a fake tier list. They are answered by the header image, the Steam bullets, and the May/June diaries. When live quest logs exist, townsfolk will take the directory role.

Until then, treat every NPC name that is not on a screenshot or in a diary as unofficial. The Astrologer’s Tower is real. A made-up bishop sequel-son is not.

Zombies sit in this hub only as a cast distinction (worker versus siege). Their factories and barricades are gameplay pages. If you came here looking for a best-zombie ranking, you are early — wait for skill-progression tooltips after September 22, then read zombie army instead of a fake tier list.

Continue to Getting Started to play as this cast, or to rebuild the Town to meet them in their streets.
