Graveyard Keeper 2 Pre-Order

Pre-orders for Graveyard Keeper 2 opened with the August 26, 2026 date reveal. TinyBuild’s Steam post is the primary source: exclusive bonuses include a Sauna building and an outfit worthy of the new Grand Inquisitor, with a note that the outfit depends on the platform you pre-order on. Steam separately ran a 20% pre-purchase off a $24.99 list price ($19.99) scheduled to end on launch day, September 22, 2026.

The discount versus the bonus

People mix these up.

• Discount — a cheaper license. On Steam that has been 20% off $24.99 during the pre-purchase window. Console stores have shown their own launch-week percentages; always read the store tile in front of you.
• Bonus — extra in-game items attached to a pre-order SKU. Officially: Sauna + outfit. These should unlock when the game does, not as a separate download you forget in a DLC library… but always check the extra’s own store page (Nintendo already listed a “Graveyard Keeper 2 - Pre-Order Bonus” DLC row).

If you wait until September 23, you may still buy the game at list price and miss both the cut and the cosmetics. That is the only urgency here. There is no battle-pass FOMO.

Sauna building

Steam’s words: a Sauna “to lift your spirits after a long and productive day.” Mechanically, treat it as a placeable building, in the same family as the graveyard modules and Town kit described in rebuild the Town. We do not have a public stat sheet (comfort, stamina regen, visitor cap). Do not plan a min-max around a steam room that might be a joke object with a tiny buff.

Placement tip from other buildings already shown: use build mode (Mouse0, R, Esc — Getting Started) and keep it off your main zombie path. A Sauna that blocks the Town Workshop aisle is a bad joke.

Grand Inquisitor outfit

The outfit is cosmetic identity for the role described on Grand Inquisitor. Because it changes by platform, a Steam pre-order and a PS5 pre-order should not be assumed to grant the same hat. If you own two platforms, pick the one you will play for the first hundred hours, not the one that is 4% cheaper this afternoon.

We will screenshot each platform’s outfit after launch and update this paragraph. Until then, any site showing a “leaked” colorway without a store asset is guessing.

Sales momentum (context, not a pitch)

TinyBuild CEO Alex Nichiporchik posted that pre-orders passed $1 million in five days, with a “pressure is on” note about playtesting. Automaton and other outlets repeated the figure. Wishlist estimates in early September still sat in the low hundreds of thousands depending on the tracker. That is context for why tinyBuild is loud. It is not a reason to skip system requirements.

Family Sharing is listed on Steam; that does not always apply to bonus DLC. If two people in a household both want the Sauna, read Valve’s current sharing rules instead of this paragraph.

Pre-order mistakes we want you to skip

1. Buying twice on Steam and Epic “just in case.”
2. Assuming Xbox One is included because a recap mentioned it — verify the console store.
3. Expecting a story DLC in the pre-order. None is listed.
4. Planning your entire automation layout around the Sauna’s unknown footprint.
5. Trusting a third-party key shop with a date-sensitive bonus. If the outfit is tied to the platform store account, a grey-market key can drop it.

Pre-orders here are a discount plus two toys. They are not a deluxe edition, not a season pass, and not a promise that combat will be good. If that package still sounds right, pay on the store you will launch. If you are unsure, wait for the preview launch-morning script and buy at list when you have seen a Workshop crate actually fill.
